Privacy Policy 

These Rules shall apply to all products and services offered by the company Business Exchange Ltd as publisher of the Business Exchange Portal.

Methods of Data Collection 

Data published on the Business Exchange Portal are collected as follows:

• by obtaining data from publicly available sources, such as court register, register of associations, crafts register, official journals, different directories, etc.,
• by obtaining data directly from the user during registration, at request, etc., with prior consent of the portal’s user.

Privacy Protection 

Users’ data are gathered at registration on the portal’s website. The data submitted by the user during registration may be linked to other data from other sources available to the publisher of the portal, thus the user shall accept such linking at registration.

For registration a person (either physical or legal) fills in an application form available in the electronic form on the portal, and provides true and complete personal data as well as data concerning persons he or she represents. By registering the user shall grant permission to the publisher to save and publish data made available by the user as well as to make these data available to third parties, at user’s own discretion. 

By signing up to the portal, the user expressly agrees that the publisher of the portal may occasionally contact him or her to present its products and services as well as to verify that the data submitted by the user are updated. Moreover, the user allows the publisher to provide the user with information about products and services of third parties, which are deemed by the publisher to be useful for the user. The publisher of the portal undertakes to stop this kind of communication at user’s request. All messages exchanged between the user and the publisher of the portal might be saved and used to further improve the quality of the services provided by the publisher of the portal. 

Whenever a user visits the portal, a cookie or cookies might be sent to the user’s computer or any other device. Cookies are used to improve the quality of the services and include the saving of user settings, refinement of search results and advertising choices, tracking of user preferences, in terms of how people search the internet. The publisher might also use cookies in his advertising services in order to help the advertisers and publishers in setting and managing their advertisements. 

The publisher of the portal undertakes to keep the data collected from users protected and safe. The database containing user data shall in principle be kept and processed on the territory of the Republic of Croatia, whereas the user shall agree that the publisher of the portal, by respecting the rules ad regulations of the Republic of Croatia, might also keep and process data at a different location, while taking account that user data are safeguarded from unauthorized access by third parties as well as from abuse. 

General Provisions

These Rules shall apply to all products and services of the company Business Exchange Ltd and affiliated companies thereto. 

The publisher of the portal is authorized to change these Rules at any time. The publisher undertakes to save the previous versions of these Rules and deliver them to the user at his or her request.
